This is a pretty decent Chinese takeout place that has the standard array of Hong Kong style dishes that you've come to love. Prices are decent, and they cut everything up pretty chunky, if that's your style. Can't really go wrong here.
A Hidden Gem for Chinese Takeout** I recently discovered China Star Restaurant near my home, and it has quickly become a favorite for my family. This is our third time ordering from here, and each experience has been consistently delightful. What we orderedβ¦. The Family Pack A: A Feast Worth Every Penny The Family Pack A is an incredible deal at just $31.95. It's a generous spread that satisfies even hearty appetites. Here's what it included: (there are other options to choose from, this is just what I ordered this time) Appetizers: Pork Egg Rolls: Crispy and flavorful, these egg rolls are a great start to the meal. Large Wonton Soup: Comforting and warming, perfect for sharing. Krab Rangoon: Creamy and savory, a must-try. Main Dishes: Honey Garlic Chicken: Tender chicken glazed with a sweet and garlicky sauce. Chicken and Broccoli: A classic combination done exceptionally well. Chicken with Garlic Sauce: Bold flavors with just the right amount of heat. Sides: House Special Fried Rice: Packed with veggies, shrimp, and chickenβthis fried rice is a meal in itself. Quality and Service That Stand Out As a New Yorker with high standards for Chinese food, I can confidently say that China Star Restaurant delivers. The staff is friendly, and the service is lightning-fast. What sets them apart is that you can watch them prepare your order right in front of you. It's a small place, but it's all about the food. The food here is bursting with flavor. Whether it's the crispy egg rolls, the savory wonton soup, or the perfectly seasoned entrees, every bite is a delight. They've won my vote for their commitment to quality. In Summary China Star Restaurant is a hidden gem for takeout. If you're in Lauderhill, give their Family Pack A a tryβyou won't be disappointed!
Great takeout. We stayed next door and the receptionist recommended it. We walked over and ordered. We had our food in 10 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh. Kung pai chicken was spicy and flavorful. The soup was good. The crab Rangoon were fresh and hot. They forgot our egg roll but everything was big portions so we didn't miss them. But maybe double-check your order before you leave. Very busy. Reasonably priced and large portions.
Nice place for oriental food. Portions were surprisingly good. Wonton soup was a little salty and had a funny flavor. Main meal was very filling. The tables needed wiped off so we could eat in. Constant flow of customers taking out. Topical strip mall place.
I ordered the roast pork mei fun and it was delicious. The house hot mustard is too cry for however, the lady behind the counter was not very friendly, in fact, she was kind of Cold. The place was nothing too exciting. But you can't really expect much from a strip plaza. Other than that, a high recommend for the food.
my go to Chinese restaurant. Consistently delicious and great portions. Chicken wings are delicious along with egg rolls. Large shrimp in the sweet and sour shrimp order as well as large shrimp in shrimp in lobster sauce entree.
My family and I have been eating here for the last 10yrs. Food is always fresh and made to order. They did go up 1 dollar, but its worth it.
